In this article, we will show you how  to  configure a domain email on a mobile device:

  1. Open the Settings app on your mobile device.
  2. Look for the “Accounts, and “Mail” sections, and select “Add Account”.
  3. Choose the “Other” or “Manual Setup” option, as domain email accounts usually require manual configuration.
  4. Select “IMAP” or “POP3” as the account type. IMAP allows you to access emails from multiple devices, while POP3 downloads emails to a single device.
  5. Enter “Username “full email address (e.g., [email protected]) and the corresponding password.
  6. Input the incoming mail server settings:
    • Incoming mail server: “mail.yourdomain.com”
    • Port numberIMAP  port 993,  POP3 commonly uses port 995.
    • Security type: Choose SSL/TLS for enhanced security.
  7. Enter the outgoing mail server settings:
    • Outgoing mail server:  “mail.yourdomain.com”
    • Port number: The default ports are 587 for TLS or 465 for SSL.
    • Security type: Choose SSL/TLS or STARTTLS.
  8. Require sign-in: Yes
  9. Tap “Next” or “Finish” to complete the configuration process.
  10. Test the email setup by sending a test message to yourself or asking someone to send you an email. Verify that you can both send and receive emails successfully.
